Pivot Project turns disruption into direction -helping people find their pivot and move towards opportunity.

SCROLL DOWN

Who We Are

We are building inclusive workforce mobility infrastructure for the AI era.

Technology is changing work rapidly. But skills alone do not create mobility.

People also need confidence, applied experience, networks, employers and clear pathways into opportunity.

Pivot Project brings these pieces together working with individuals, educators, employers, technology companies, community organisations and governments to help people navigate workforce transitions and move forward.

Pivot Project brings people, skills, and opportunity together.

We work with learners, educators, industry, and governments to build future-ready skills, expand access to technology, and turn learning into real pathways from education to employment and beyond.

How We Build Workforce Mobility

We work across three connected layers — helping individuals move, building pathways into opportunity, and turning what works into systems that can scale.

01

Find Your Pivot

Help people see where they can go next.

We help people understand their strengths, explore new possibilities and build the skills, confidence and networks needed to navigate change.

02

Create the Pathway

Turn learning into opportunity.

We connect skilling, employability, community, applied experience and employers so people have a pathway from learning towards meaningful work and progression.

03

Make Mobility Systemic

Turn evidence into lasting change.

We take what we learn from real workforce transitions back to employers, educators and policymakers — helping successful approaches become repeatable, scalable and sustainable.

How we started

Pivot Project grew from a simple insight: skills alone are not enough.

Our founder, Annie Mathew, previously created and led Microsoft Code Without Barriers across 12 countries, reaching more than 600,000 women.

That experience demonstrated the power of large-scale skilling — but also revealed what people need beyond learning: confidence, community, applied experience, networks and access to real opportunities.

Pivot Project was created to connect those missing pieces..

That experience showed both the power of skilling at scale and the need to go further — connecting skills with confidence, community, applied experience, employers and real pathways into opportunity. Pivot Project was created to connect those missing pieces.

OUR MIssion

Help people find their pivot, create inclusive pathways into opportunity, and turn what we learn into workforce systems that enable mobility at scale.

When people can move with technology, disruption becomes opportunity.

When people can move with technology, disruption becomes opportunity.

Pivot aims to unite people,
organisations, and policymakers to unlock opportunity, foster inclusion, and build systems where progress is shared by all.

BUILT THROUGH PARTNERSHIP

Workforce mobility is an ecosystem challenge. No single organisation can solve it alone.

Pivot works through partnerships and coalitions across technology, industry, education, government and community — combining complementary capabilities to reach people at scale and create pathways that last.
